This was an all female cast of Lord of the Flies!

"Lt. Charles" in
The Adding Machine

"Roger" in Lord of the Flies

"Sandy" in
Grease

"Caliban" in The Tempest

"Mollie" in The Mousetrap

"Grease" was my first time ever playing the lead in a musical and it was my first non-educational theatre role!

"Olympe de Gouges" in
The Revolutionists

"Loud Stone" in Eurydice

"Georgia" in
Dancing with Georgia

I not only originated this role on stage, but played Georgia in the film version of "Dancing with Georgia" as well

Acting

Acting, oh, acting. How I love you so. I fell in love with acting in middle school when we were tasked to find monologues from movies for auditions. I did one from The Princess Diaries. Since then I have been acting and hope to never stop.

My approach to acting centers on authenticity and play. I find so much joy in basing my characters in myself and having fun in that space. I found home in this acting technique at The Barrow Group under teaching by Seth Barrish.

Design

At Nebraska Wesleyan University I got to design makeup and hair plots for two main stages, A Long Line of McKinney Women and The Lightning Thief, as well as do the hair, makeup, and costuming for my first feature film as an actor, Dancing with Georgia.

Next to acting, makeup and hair design has been a great passion of mine. I used to sit at my kitchen counter as a child and play with "fake makeup," caking my face with artificial blush and eye shadow just for the hell of it.

Directing

check out
my directorial
and screenwriting debut

Since my Junior year of college, I have directed 3 shows. 1 short film, Refracted written by myself, 1 full-length play Mercutio Loves Romeo Loves Juliet Loves by Gina Femia, both through NWU, and finally I am in the post production for a short film with Isa Luzarraga for our Rough Cut.

Directing is one of my newer passions, but a passion nonetheless. NWU requires their BFA students to take at least two directing classes and because of that I fell in love with the process of directing in both stage and film.
